The Inner Fight

There was a time when everything looked fine from the outside, but inside… I was lost. I felt low, disconnected—my body started failing me in quiet, terrifying ways. Restricting water to just 1 litre a day was breathtaking, especially for someone like me who loved staying hydrated for fitness and skin health.I had unwavering support—my friends, family, doctors, and even strangers stood by me. Their belief in me was simple and strong: “It has to be this way, or no way.”But then came the storm…

I spent 4 days on a ventilator—my lungs filled with water. Six of my closest friends and my mom stood by, unsure if I’d make it. Dialysis became my new normal—alternate days, for seven years. Each session drained my body and soul. There were times when I stood on the edge, thinking about ending it. The pain, the fatigue, the needles, the insulin shots, the emotional rollercoaster—it was unbearable. I’d lost count of the times I broke down. But I didn’t quit.

The Rise

What pulled me back wasn’t some dramatic moment. It was a quiet memory of someone who believed in me. Their strength was silent, but powerful. In them, I saw a reflection of who I wanted to become.

That memory became my anchor. I told myself:

“Do it. Whatever it takes.”

So I took small steps. One day at a time. I focused on the present, let go of the past, and stopped worrying about the future.

And then… I noticed something. People around me started smiling again. My fight was working.

For You, the Reader

Looking back now, all I can say is: It was worth waiting for.

The pain, the struggle—it shaped me.

My message to you:

If you’re going through hell, hold on. Some really good things are waiting in your future. Don’t give up.

My Mantra

“Muskuraao”

agar aaj kahin se haar gaye ho,

kisi ko us jeet ki tumse jyada jarurat ho shayad

muskurao, agar dil toot gaya ho,

kisi ko tumse jyada jeet ki jarurat thi shayad

kisi ka jodne ke liye kisi ka todna padta hoga shayad

or bhi rah jaye agar dil mein dard kahin toh bantkar

“Muskuraao”

aur hai agar dil mein khushi jyada to same process doharaaya

muskurao, agar sir par hai chhat, badan par hai kapda or hai thaali mein khana

or agar hai jarurat se jyada toh bantkar ghar aana

muskurao, jab baar baar sochkar ye hatash ho jate ho ki

isase achchha ye ho jaata, isase achcha woh ho jaata

ye sochkar “Muskuraao” ki isase bura ho jata to kya ho jaata

muskurao, jab puchhe koi ki zindagi jeene ka hai kya salika

muskurao, ye kehkar ki humne jindagi se muskurana hi seekha

muskurao, bhale hi aapko milon-meel paidal chalna pade

“Muskuraao”

Ziddh Takeaway

No matter how dark your days may seem, your fight matters. Even when life knocks you down, your decision to rise—no matter how small the step—creates ripples of hope.

You’re stronger than you think, and your courage can light the way not just for yourself, but for others too.

Hold on, keep going, and remember: the comeback is always stronger than the setback.
